Research Summary: Chris is a graduate student in Microbiology Graduate Program at MIT. He is interested in characterizing the factors that influence the dissemination and survival of influenza in the aquatic environment. Currently, he is examining the impact of bacteria and host-derived viral components on the infectivity, stability, and environmental persistence of avian influenza virus.
About Me: Outside the lab Chris enjoys rowing with the MIT Rowing Club, spinning, yoga and going for the occasional run along the Charles River.
